2016 Stigma Conference

The 7th Annual International Conference on Stigma was held at Howard University Blackburn Center on Friday November 18, 2016. The theme was, “Shame and Stigma…the biggest hurdle to healing.” This was an action packed day of keynotes, plenary sessions, panels, workshops, networking, entertainment and more. The event included a panel on Breaking down silos moderated by Loretta Jay of BStigma-free and a large Faith-Based panel. The Barrie School did a vocal performance to kick off the event. Top funders included Gilead Sciences, DC Health, and AIDS Healthcare Foundation.
