HU Stigma Conference
The stigma associated with health conditions, such as HIV infection, is a major public health problem that impedes treatment and prevention efforts. The International Conference on Stigma brings together researchers, community, academia, policy makers, faith leaders and youth to discuss the impact of health-related stigma and ongoing research on interventions to eliminate stigma. The conference is held each year in November and includes plenary sessions, advocacy training sessions, scientific poster presentations, networking opportunities and art.
